Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question about dog boarding at Waggin Tails?
You'll find the most common ones below.

BOARDING & BOOKING

What services do you offer?
Home-based dog boarding (day and overnight) in Cambridge, plus cat visits over the summer holidays and dog walking by arrangement.

What is home-based dog boarding?
Your dog stays with me in my home instead of a kennel. They're part of the household for their stay, with walks, playtime, company and a comfy place to sleep.

Which pets do you care for?
We specialise in dogs. Cat visits are available over the summer holidays only.

How do I book?
Call or text 021 883 343, email waggintails31@gmail.com, or use the contact form. We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for school and summer holidays.

Do you require a trial stay?

Yes. All new dogs need a trial stay before their first booking. It's a chance for your dog to get used to our home and for us to make sure they'll be happy and settled with us.

A trial stay is $40.

What should I bring for my dog's stay?
Please bring their usual food, bed or blanket, lead, any medication and a favourite toy.

What areas do you cover?
We're based in Cambridge and welcome dogs from surrounding areas.

What does my dog need before staying?
