What services do you offer?
We offer dog walking (30, 45, or 60 minutes), home-based pet sitting, and a complimentary meet-and-greet consultations.
Which pets do you care for?
We primarily specialise in dogs.
How do I book a service?
You can call/text us at 021 883 343, send an email to waggintails31@gmail.com, or use the contact form on our website. We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance to ensure availability.
Can I meet you beforehand?
Absolutely! We offer a free meet-and-greet consultation to get to know you and your pet before the first visit. This is required for all new clients.
What areas do you service?
We provide services throughout Cambridge and surrounding areas including Te Miro and nearby localities. Please enquire if you're unsure whether your location is covered.
WALKING SERVICES
How long are your dog walks?
We offer walks ranging from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your dog's needs and your preference. You can choose from 30-minute, 45-minute, or 60-minute options.
Do you walk dogs in groups or solo?
We primarily offer solo walks for safety and personalised attention.
What if it's raining?
We still walk in light rain and mild weather conditions unless it's dangerous. During severe weather (heavy rain, storms, extreme heat), we'll do a shorter toilet break and spend extra time indoors playing or cuddling with your dog.
What time do walks happen?
Our services are available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Weekend walks can be arranged upon request and subject to availability.
PAYMENT & PRICING
What are your rates?
Our current rates are:

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer. Bank account details will be provided on your invoice.
When is payment due?
Payment is due within 2 days after each service. Late payments will incur an administration fee of $15 for every 2 days overdue.
Do you require a deposit?
A deposit may be required at our discretion for new clients or extended bookings.
CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid a fee. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full service fee. For overnight or extended pet sitting bookings, at least 48 hours' notice is required.
Are there extra charges for weekends or holidays?
Weekend visits are included at our regular rate. Holiday surcharges may apply for services on public holidays.
SAFETY & REQUIREMENTS
Are you insured?
Yes, we have public liability insurance for your peace of mind.
Do pets need to be vaccinated and wormed?
Yes, dogs and cats must be up to date on core vaccinations and worming medication for safety. Please provide proof of vaccination records if your dog will be staying at our home-based property.
What if my pet gets sick or injured while I'm away?
We will contact you immediately. If necessary, we'll take your pet to your preferred vet or the nearest emergency clinic. Please note that we are not qualified veterinarians and all veterinary expenses incurred during service are your responsibility.
What happens if my dog shows aggressive behaviour?
We reserve the right to refuse service to any animal showing signs of illness or aggressive behaviour. For home-based pet sitting, if behaviour becomes unmanageable or poses a safety risk, we may need to return the dog to you.
ACCESS & SECURITY
Do I need to be home for the walk?
No, you don't need to be home. We'll need secure access to your property via keys, door codes, or gate codes for the purpose of collecting and dropping off your dog.
How do you handle keys?
All keys and access codes are stored securely and will only be used for agreed-upon service times. We are not responsible for lockouts or access issues resulting from incorrect information provided by you.
UPDATES & COMMUNICATION
Do you provide updates during walks?
Yes! We're happy to send you photos and messages during walks to let you know how your furry friend is doing.
What if you're sick or unavailable?
We'll contact you as soon as possible if we're unable to fulfil your booking. We'll work with you to reschedule or make alternative arrangements.

HOME-BASED PET SITTING
What are the requirements for home stays?
Dogs staying at our property must be:

Up to date on vaccinations and flea/worm treatments (proof required)

House-trained or you must provide appropriate containment/cleaning supplies

Non-aggressive and able to socialise safely
Are there house rules for home-based pet sitting?
Yes, dogs staying with us:

Are not permitted on furniture unless specifically arranged in advance

Will be supervised but not monitored 24/7

Will be walked and given appropriate exercise, playtime, and attention

Any damage caused by your dog to our property or belongings will be your responsibility
PHOTOS & PRIVACY
Do you take photos of pets?
Yes, we may take photos of your pet during walks and visits. These photos may be shared on our social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) and website for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for photos of your pet to be shared publicly, please let us know in writing.
How is my personal information used?
Your personal information (name, address, contact details, and pet information) will be kept confidential and used solely for providing our services. We will not share your information with third parties except as required by law or in the case of veterinary emergencies.
